to better align with adolescent sleep patterns. Elementary schools will
start at 8 a.m. and release at 2:45 p.m., high schools will start at
8:20 a.m. and release at 3:30 p.m. and middle schools will start at 8:50
a.m. and release at 3:45 p.m. As part of that process, the first day
of school was also adjusted and winter break falls differently than in
years past.
