Principal's Message
Welcome back from a restful few days. December is officially here, so that means finals are approaching as is the end of semester one. Our students are working hard to ensure they are showing their learning, and our teachers are working hard to offer them many opportunities to do so. Please see the Grandview website for the finals schedule as that last week before break is a much different schedule.
As the semester comes to a close, so does our fall season of athletics. Cheer and Poms will compete at State December 12th and 13th, respectively, and that will complete the fall season. Congratulations to all of our fall athletes! Now we turn to our winter sports, which have officially started, and teams are already competing. Good luck to our winter athletes!
Congratulations to the cast, crew, and pit of Cinderella who put on brilliant performances last week. They played to nearly sold out crowds every show. They included the entire Grandview feeder area (including a special performance for our feeder elementary and middle schools), and they wowed everyone in attendance with their talent – on and off the stage. Congratulations also go out to our students who made District Honor Band, All State Choir, District Honor Orchestra, All State Jazz Choir, and All State Jazz Band as well. We continue to be proud of all the students and the entire Performing Arts Department – one of the best in the state!
Our co-curricular and extra-curricular clubs and activities are doing many competitions and service projects as the semester winds down and as we participate in this season of giving.
Please join us for our PTCO Holiday Market this Saturday, December 6th. It is always a great event for the entire community. The money raised goes back to our classrooms via teacher grants, so thank you for your support and for the time and effort of our PTCO!
I hope you and your family enjoy the time over winter break. We will be ready for our students to return in January.
At Grandview, we are ONE PACK!
Go Wolves!
