GHS Band, Choir, and Theatre Students Receive Awards
At CHSAA and at the Colorado West Music Invitational, music ensembles (band, choir and orchestra) are rated on a scale of 1-5. A 1 is a Superior Rating, a 2 is an Excellent rating, and those are the ratings we strive to get. At Colorado West, if your group scored the highest in their category, you also received an Outstanding Performance Award. Below are the results from our festivals:

Theatre:
On top of all of these music awards, our theater program was nominated for several Bobby G Awards. These are state level awards that recognize superior work in performance, design direction, choreography, and technical production (think the Tony Awards for Colorado schools). Winners will be announced at a ceremony in May. Our students nominated for Bobby G Awards include:
